Yeah, it would be totally long-winded and cheesy of me to go into detail on my love and appreciation of Walt Disney. I'm a huge Disney nerd and it's just one of those things I've loved since birth. I've read numerous books about his life and I'm always amazed by his genius. Oh, and he kind of reminds me of my grandpa, lol. I think it's the mustache.

I'm currently trying to finish up a research paper on thyroid cancer. My lawd, it's draining me. I'm about 4 pages into it (halfway there) and I'm like to the point of tearing my hair out (whatever is left). It's not that I don't know about the subject...because, hello? First hand experience here (which is about 2-3 pages in itself). I know all about there is to know but the pain in the ass part is going in and plugging in sources. I love to write but even I'm over this right about now.

Speaking of health crap, I ended up going home early Tuesday. I still wasn't feeling good and I was able to get in to the doctor that afternoon. I'm the weirdest case ever, I swear. I was asked a million questions about how I'm doing/feeling and ended up getting blood work done. 5 vials. I have this weird habit of keeping track how many vials they draw (nothing will top the 8 or 9 they drew before surgery. Gawwwwwd). The doc checked off like 6 or 7 tests too, so who knows. I should hear back sometime next week. Then Friday I came home early again, I broke out in hives again and I was miserable. Came home at lunch, took some benadryl and knocked-the-fuck-out for a few hours. BODY, YOU SUCK.

In ~@~*HOLIDAY*~@~ news, I'm totally done with my shopping (this includes my secret santa exchange at work, family, friends, and the shamone!exhange)!!! I think this may be the earliest I've ever finished. And I'm so proud of myself. Unfortunately I'm working on this damn paper and a couple of other things for the end of class, I won't be able to really wrap all of my gifts/write cards/do projects/etc. until next week. Which, is still early. For some reason I keep thinking it's way later in the month than it really is. Oh! Tonight I dropped off 2 bags of toys for Toys For Tots. I always get really excited to go out and buy stuff for that. I don't know why, it just makes me feel good ♥ Plus, it didn't hurt to have half a dozen handsome Marines greet me as I got out of the car ;)

1) MY WRIST HURTS LIKE :((((((((((( I think I messed it up peeling/cutting/mashing/mixing, oh, 20-25 pounds of potatoes on Thanksgiving? Ugh. FML.
2) I have a test on Wednesday. I have a paper due next Monday. I'm trying to study like mad for the test. Guess what I haven't worked on?
3) I feel so fucking run down. I slept most of this weekend, and I still feel like I can sleep all this week. I had to fight off falling flat on my face at work. Crimeny. I think I have to get my medication adjusted =/
4) I'm highly. Highly considering calling in tomorrow. Just so I can rest, study and work on my paper. Maybe try to get into the doctor and get some blood work done. Maybe. Just maybe...
5) The tree is up!!
